The Lakanil Aqua products are the finely divided pastes of organic and inorganic pigments on a water-glycol basis with a pigment content of 25-50%. According to microscopic examination, the dispersion is 1-3 microns. The pastes contain a non-ionogenic dispersant, di- and polyethylene glycols, amine medium regulator (pH of a 5% aqueous suspension is in the range of 7.5-11.0).
The dispersants and wetting agents applied are approved for use in the materials being in contact with the skin. The Lakanil Aqua pigment pastes do not contain the following substances:
The Lakanil products are efficiently combined with the polyvinyl acetate, acrylic, styrene-acrylic, etc. emulsions, do not affect the rheological parameters of the finished paint, as well as such properties as the drying time, hardness and coating gloss. They are recommended for tinting the water-dispersion paints, whitewash and other compositions.
